Hi guys,

Hope you all are doing great. Apologies for being unable to keep up. It has been a while since my last post and I feel terrible about it, this certainly was not my plan for I promised myself a post or two every week. I was away on vacation and have been a little under the weather since I came back 🙁

Anyway, I am back up on my feet now and even though I could not post anything last week, I have been doing my research and been working on multiple posts, so there would be no stopping henceforth come what may.

About the look: I found this dress on the recent Koovs sale. And love at first sight it was! I have always been a little bit of a rebel and have never really shied away from onlookers, I love the attention rather. The look that has ‘What is she doing?or ‘What is she wearing?’ written all over the face, I kind of enjoy it :D. But with all my honesty, even for someone like me, who would smear lipstick on her forehead and stick stars all over my face and step out if I feel like it, I stopped for a moment  and thought ‘if’ I should. Its metallic, its like second skin and it’s full length. Yes, it is sexy, yes it is available at a price where I should not have rooms for any second thoughts, but would it look good on me? I am no Candice Swanepoel, I have a body which has it’s own little flaws and I am happy with my perfect imperfections as everybody should, hence editing to hide those flaws was not done on the images as you can see, for I wanted to present myself as I am and encourage everybody else to embrace themselves as they are. Having said that, although I love the way I am, I make constant efforts on wearing outfits that bring out the best in me.

Koovs as we all know has an amazing collection of trendy dresses and accessories. I can blindly trust them when I am looking for international fashion, so much that they would probably be in my speed dial if they had a fashion emergency number. Thence, I took my leap of faith and bought the dress. And believe me I am glad that I did. Now, when you see a dress like this, the first thing that comes to your mind is chic, sophisticated. I wouldn’t lie saying styling it the 80’s disco fashion way with a chain around my forehead did not occur to me either. But like I said, the rebel in me always strives and pushes me on doing things a little differently. So, I whisked in a look keeping a little finesse and disco in mind and without disappointing myself, I made way for my golden sneakers instead of heels.
