I feel like I should mark today’s date down, I just recently joined a full time job and before I say anything, kudos to anyone who has been juggling with a full time job, alongside keeping his, or, her passion alive. Because I for one, am dabbling between spending 9 – 10 hours in my office, coming home and planning photo-shoots and fetching creative ideas for content and all that it needs to keep myself as a blogger and influencer alive.
Truly, I am still trying to figure out the how’s, the when’s and the what’s. But no matter how exhausted, the clickety clack sound of me typing a post on my laptop, gives me so much pleasure. This is one thing that I do where my thoughts come out unfiltered. I write what I want to, I say and do what I feel like, and all of it with noone telling me off and shoving his or her ideas onto mine.
To prove what I am saying is not all made up, do you notice anything different in the pictures from this post? MY HAIR BUBSSS! Yes! this one is from the time I had my dark, long hair. Do I need say more? Pictures, posts have been piling up and I have been struggling to strike a balance between work, blogging, shoots and learning some self taught skills on handling weird shit people. Lol
It has been so long, that I am having a hard time remembering what was this post supposed to even be about? Ah yes! the color ‘Olive’
Olive, the different shades and hues of green. People say it’s black, but I’d say it’s this color that would beat black anytime when it comes to versatility. Imagine having to wear black on a warm, sunny day. With a mix of brown, olive is an earthy, neutral color, that looks great on any skin tone. But if you ask me, the color looks best on dusky to dark skin. A hint of golden glow on the skin and sigh!
Not to forget the number of years Olive green has been trending on the streets, let alone the runways. And oh yes, the color has made it’s way to one of Fall / Winter 2018’s top 10 colors too. I love this comfortable baggy olive green dress I bought from Ajio a while ago. Here in these pictures I have styled it with a brown belt and heels, but airy dresses like these, can also be worn with a pair of chic flats, or converse, without the belt for a more laid back, casual day look.
